For average head size, QYQ suggest: 12″-14″: 3 bundles. 16″-22″: 3 bundles. 24″-28″: 4 bundles or more depending on how thick you want the hair to be
  1. Treat the hair just as if it were your own hair.
  2. Use good quality shampoo and hair conditioner to care for the hair. It’s important to keep the hair soft and shiny.
  3. Gel or spray styling products can be used to keep the hair style.
  4. Olive oil is good to keep the hair healthy.
This could be because of dry hair. Hair extensions should be wash & condition at least once or twice a week, combed or brushed gently but regularly from time to time. You can also seek advice from your stylist for further suggestions.
How long your hair extension lasts depends on how you maintain it. Treat the hair extensions like your own hair, taking good care of it resulting in the hair lasting longer that a year.
Monitors have different displays which affects the way the hair looks. Also the same colour number may have a little colour variation.
Yes, you could use hair straighteners or hair curlers to style the virgin hair. However, this should not be done too often. Too much heat causes the hair to get dry which in turn causes the hair to tangle.
Yes, the hair can be coloured. As a general rule it is easier to darken the hair than it is to lighten the hair. Improper dying will ruin the hair as such we highly recommend having your hairdresser dye your virgin hair extensions.
Human hair has natural protein. It is easy to tell by burning and smell: Human hair will turn to ash and give off a foul smell like feather when burning. Human hair will show a white smoke when burnt whilst synthetic hair will be a sticky ball after burning and will give off black smoke.
The hair weft is not sealed off prior to being installed. Ideally the weft should be sealed off with a sealant. This ensures that even with the everyday pull and push, you only experience minimal shedding. The weft is punctured through with a needle. Some stylists are not certified but rather learn by observation, as such they have not been taught the proper way to install a weave. Most still put a needle through the sewn weft. This is wrong, it opens up spaces (in the machine sewn weft) large enough for a strand of hair to fall out (eventually many strands follow). Stylist must sew in a loop, the blanket style. This will reinforces the weft.
By following these recommendations, reduces the risk of shedding and complaints
The “A” Grading system is used by Manufacturers as a guide for customers regarding the thickness of the hair extensions ends. The grade of your hair extensions refers not to the quality of the hair but to the thickness of the hair extensions to the ends, the higher the grade the thicker the hair extension ends are. Hair extension thickness starts at A Grade, this is the lowest grade available (very spindly at the ends) through to 10A Grade (the highest grade available also known as Double Drawn). Double Drawn hair extensions means approximately 95% of the hair is the same length all the way to the ends of the hair extensions.
